Accounting Basics
Keefe at Night, Framingham, MA (3/4/20 - 4/8/20) 

This 5-class introduction to the basics of financial accounting and bookkeeping will include common topics relating to accounting. Assets, liabilities, and equity and how they relate to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Practices) will be discussed.  We will review basic accounting statements, including balance sheets, income statement and profit and loss. This is a great class to take before the QuickBooks class. Course materials are included in cost of tuition. No class 4/1/20

QuickBooks Online
Keefe at Night, Framingham, MA (4/7/20 - 5/19/20)

This course will be taught in a computer lab! QuickBooks Online is a comprehensive tool to manage small business finances effectively. This class takes the studenst with no prior knowledge of computerized accounting to a stage where they can confidently perform day-to-day operations with QuickBooks Online. Topics include: setting up a QuickBooks company, working with company lists, setting up and working with items, creating customer invoices and billing statements, receiving payments from customers, performing bank transactions, entering and paying bills, and conducting online banking services. Learn to complete estimates, create customized letters and forms, reports, and graphs. Prerequesites: Understanding of accounting basics and basic computer skills. QuickBooks Desktop

QuickBooks is a comprehensive tool to manage small business finances effectively. This QuickBooks Desktop class takes the students with no prior knowledge of computerized accounting to a stage where they can confidently perform day-to-day operations with QuickBooks accounting software. Topics include: setting up a QuickBooks company, working with company lists, setting up and working with items, creating customer invoices and billing statements, receiving payments from customers, performing bank transactions, entering and paying bills, and conducting online banking services. Learn to complete estimates, tracking time and costs, create customized letters and forms, reports, and graphs. Prerequesites: Understanding of accounting basis and basic computer skills.
